Registration Policy

Members must have paid 2020 dues to receive member pricing. All attendees and authors at THRIVE 2020 are required to register to access all content. Authors will be sent instructions on how to register. For questions, please contact

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Because THRIVE 2020 content will be recorded and accessible under your SME profile beyond the dates of the event, we are not offering refunds for cancellations. If you have extenuating circumstances, you may cancel in writing by emailing or by mail to SME THRIVE Conference Registration, c/o SME, 12999 E. Adam Aircraft Circle, Englewood, CO 80112. Substitutions will be accepted at no charge until Friday, October 16, 2020. No substitutions will be processed after October 16, 2020.

Consent Clause

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, SME conferences constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in recordings, both live and on-demand, photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by SME and other third parties, including but not limited the virtual platform provider. Your virtual registration may include technology that monitors your activities throughout the meeting, such as session attendance and virtual booths visited.


Student registrations for the THRIVE 2020 Virtual conference must meet eligibility requirements. SME requires that an individual must be attending a college/university/higher education institute on a full-time basis to qualify for student registration rates. Student registrations may be required to provide evidence of full-time status. Students enrolled in 12 or more semester credit hours are considered full-time. Acceptable confirmation includes: transcript, most recent report card, or official school registration documents. Student registrations without this documentation will not be eligible for the reduced student rate.
